Eric Hoffman
Sound Design, Mixing and Original Music
Over 25 years experience.
Originally from San Diego, I came to New York City in college to work in recording studios.
First, as an audio engineer, recording and mixing Reggaeton, Hip Hop and R&B sessions. Then,
I transitioned into audio post production, sound design and music for visuals.
In 2009, I began sound designing & mixing for Beyoncé, through her company Parkwood Entertainment. In the years since, I’ve sound designed and mixed numerous visual projects, including Lemonade, Homecoming, Black Is King, I am… World Tour and Live at Roseland.
Additionally, I’ve contributed sound design for concert tours, such as The Formation World Tour, On The Run II, and The Grammy's. As well as numerous music videos, BTS videos and promotional content. I continue to be amazed and feel blessed to be able to collaborate with, and learn from one of the greatest artists alive, and work with her amazingly talented team.
In advertising, I’ve completed the sound design and mix for hundreds of commercials.
As a former staff mixer at audioEngine and Mr. Bronx in NYC, I’ve worked with all the largest agencies and brands. I'm experienced in all audio formats, from stereo and 5.1 for broadcast
and cinema, to Dolby Atmos (Avid Atmos certified) and immersive formats.
When not in the studio, I spend my time in the Hudson Valley with my family, or growing and fermenting hot peppers - @the-hoff-sauce.
